WEEK 5 - QUIZ ASSIGNMENT #1 - EMBEDDED GIFS

On Tuesday September 27th. Ryan Reynolds not only confirmed a Deadpool 3 but that Wolverine will be returning to the big screen.

Ryan Reynolds posted the teaser on Tuesday then a second one on Wednesday, September 28th, giving us a clearer image of the movie. The first teaser started with Ryan talking about how he was trying to think of a new story for the third Deadpool movie. He wanted to stay true to the character and make it special since this will be Deadpool's first appearance in the MCU. Ryan wanted to find "New depth and motivation" wanting it to stand out. And after searching and thinking he came up with....nothing. That's when Hugh Jackman is seen in the back passing through going up the stairs.

Ryan then tells us there was one idea and as Hugh is passing he asks, "Hey Hugh. You want to play Wolverine one more time?" Hugh then replies with, "Yeah, sure Ryan." Causing all the fans to go wild. Many were excited to see this duo interact with each other however the big question we had was how? How is Wolverine alive after being killed off in "Logan"?

The second teaser has both Ryan and Hugh explaining that "'Logan' takes place in 2029. Totally separate thing" and that "They will not be touching that." Ryan then goes to say, "What actually happens in our film..." and shares details with Hugh about "Deadpool 3" with Wham!'s "Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go" blasting over them talking, blocking out everything the two are saying.

The second teaser might have just been a bit of a prank, but it let the Marvel fans know that "Deadpool 3" will not mess up the powerful death scene in "Logan". I cant wait to see this film and see these two talented actors interact with their characters. Deadpool and Wolverine will appear in "Deadpool 3" on September 6th, 2024.
