The Sites in Chicago

Since we live here in Chicago, we kind of forget that we have a lot of great sites. We see them a lot and take advantage of their beauty and amazement. Using gifs taken from "Our Top 10 free things to do in Chicago", YouTube video by James and Laurent, we will see the beautiful sites that Chicago has to offer.

CLOUD GATE

The Cloud Gate, mostly known as The Bean is the most well known tourist site in Chicago. Located in Millennium Park, This piece of artwork reflects the entire skyline of the city. It is fun to go under The Bean and take pictures, you can see everyone and it is an incredible view.

THE CROWN FOUNTAIN

The Crown Fountain, also in Millennium Park, is a fun and strange experience. There are these two fountains with faces that are constantly changing and are just looking at each other smiling and then spitting out water. It is mostly popular in the summer, since they can go and cool off. The faces on the fountains are actually citizens from Chicago that volunteered to have their faces recorded.

 NAVY PIER

Navy Pier is the most visited attraction in Chicago. It has a great view of the lake and a few places to eat and visit. Then there is the famous Ferris Wheel and the garden that many go and take pictures in.

 MAGGIE DALEY PARK

This park is kind of like a free amusement park and is a perfect place to take your kids. There are many attractions in this park from a pirate ship playground to a lighthouse with a tube slide.

LAKE FRONT

The Lakefront is a nice way to experience both the city and nature. If you travel to the museum campus you would be able to see an amazing view of the entire skyline from the Sears Tower all the way to Navy Pier. You can walk or bike the whole lakefront trail and enjoy the lake view.
